Inheritance Prophecy

I have a picture, and God's been showing it to me for a while now, of us as a church. 

We are a wave on the sea, advancing towards the shore, but we have entered a phase where the wave has frozen solid ... poised to crash over the beach and advance God's Kingdom powerfully, but held back for some reason.

And I feel that God is saying that WE are the reason we are being frozen - because we have been trying to advance this wave in our own strength, in our own time, through our own plans.

But God has a mighty purpose for Salt & Light in this city and in this region of Africa, and this is NOT the time to lose heart or to shrink back from the battle. God is waiting to release us, to bring us into a place of increased influence and increased favour: if we will only press in tighter to Him, if we refuse to be downhearted or discouraged, if we continue to wage war in the heavenlies through our passionate prayer for more of Him and for more of His Kingdom.

Do not allow seemingly unanswered prayer or unfulfilled prophecy to hold you back from the fight ... the wave is going to break, and God's restoration and redemption is going to flood through this church, and through us to the nations.

Stand firm.

Take it

"I saw a huge barn-house that looked like it formed part of a mountain, it was entrenched and built into the mountain. The doors opened and strong, fast 4X4 came driving out of it.

Fast.

It was on a mission. It knew exactly where it was going.

The lights were shining bright towards me.

I got the sense of that's where the church is at. Leaving our comfort zones to go after everything God has called us to.

Inviting people in.

Showing God's love to those around us, reaching out and leaving our comfort zones to reach them.

It was encouraging to know that God has so much for us, all we need to do is get up and receive it.

Faithfully."

What this is?!? Prophecy!?!

This blog will comprimise of all relevant prophecies that happen within the Salt & Light church context, whether it be at one of our church services, prayer meetings, homecells or even outside of this while on mission...

Importantly, the prophecies posted will be relevant to the life of the church from the viewpoint of seeing what is coming, what is next, where we are going as a church and will not be set in a specific time frame of where each specific meeting is going, those are kept for then and will not be posted.

God speaks to us through the prophetic - 'dreams & visions'  - He speaks to us through many other means as well, this blog is solely for the prophetic

"'And in the last days it shall be, God declares, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams...""
